Lynn McFarlane
Managing Director

In the early days, Lyn studied with Jocasta Innes and Jane Gorden Smith. She then moved on to work in local colleges, gaining her Certificate in Education and D32/34 Assessors' Awards. Lyn worked in various subject areas in Arts and Crafts assessing and mentoring tutors & students and facilitating courses. Now, establishing The Art Factory she plans to create a peaceful, relaxed space for delegates to come and try out the various arts and crafts options in a peaceful learning environment using, where possible, recycled materials.



Suzanne Burton
Tutor

Suzanne's skills include a specialism in floristry; often to a set brief. Suzanne loves to work with creative materials, searching for ideas giving strong consideration to recycling ideas and environmental issues throughout. Her interpersonal skills enable her to deliver her ideas within a group of students. Suzanne's personal interests also include animal rescue

 

Charles McFarlane
Classroom Assistant & Web Designer

Having Completed An AVCE in Art & Design and A-Level In Psychology Charles Is Currently Studying in his third and final year at South East Essex College On A Ba (Hons) in Fine Art. Charles' interests spread across many areas of art but he specializes in sculpture, drawing and photography. Charles' other interests include martial arts and music. Also he sings in a local Essex band called "The Rues" and plays venues in the local area.
